Welcome to the LoTi Mentor Process!
The LoTi Mentor Process focuses on the four-stage LoTi Implementation Cycle: Assessing, Planning, Implementing, and Sustaining. This process will determine your ability to assess, plan, implement, and sustain high quality technology use impacting student achievement and classroom pedagogy. The links contained in this assessment process will guide you through the various tasks needed to complete your LoTi Mentor Certification and specifically, the four-stage cycle.
The Assessment stage includes collecting data from classroom observation, approximating the LoTi Level of sample instructional units used on campus, critiquing the quality of sample lesson plans, reviewing standardized test score data, and analyzing the most current LoTi assessment and DETAILS profile data.
The Plan stage involves the creation of a Next Steps Action Plan as well as creating specific interventions for individuals or small groups of teachers based on the assessment data.
The Implementation stage enables you to recommend appropriate professional development interventions for your school or district as well as implement your own customized intervention for faculty members.
The Sustain stage allows you to demonstrate how you can apply the LoTi Implementation cycle to your own educational system.
